Preparation of shop drawings for the manufacturing and installation of lifts across Australia. Successful project management leader on a range of vertical transport designs, including lifts, car stackers and escalators. Sites ranged from train stations, hospitals, universities and multi-residential buildings.
Key Duties:
● Prepare full sets of drawings including plans, elevations and sections, together with details and schedules for client and consultant approvals.
● Mentoring and leading a team of junior draughtspersons across Australia to improve their performance with productivity practices. Guided all juniors to develop detailed sets of technical drawings, meeting industry standards.
● Clear and consistent communication with clients and relevant stakeholders throughout projects.
● Application and knowledge of compliance with code (AS 1735.12:2020 Lifts, escalators and moving walks Part 12: Facilities for persons with disabilities).
● Continuous manufacturing coordination with overseas and local suppliers.
● Managing multiple projects, with around 30 completed each year.
Key Projects:
● Develop the lift interior designs and detailed manufacturing drawings in coordination with architects and builders.
● Provide expert industry knowledge for the designs of steel towers for more than twenty Level Crossing Removal Projects in Victoria.
● Design the replacement and renovation of lift interiors for fifteen DHHS sites.
● Designed temporary restraint drawings/models for lift car transportation with Metro Trains.
● Major contracts up to $2,000,000, with drawings representing 10-15% of total contract value.
LEAD DESIGN ARCHITECT

ATB Construction, Venezuela
Responsible for contributing to the delivery of multi-residential and hotel projects, leading a team of three architectural draughtspersons throughout each phase of the building design, construction, contract documentation and administration duties.
Key Duties:
● Undertake preliminary assessments of authority regulations and prepare a set of sketches and diagrams to adequately explain the concept.
● Producing all documentation for town planning submissions including plans for site analysis, general arrangements, elevations, landscape, overlooking and shadow diagrams. ● Creating 3D representations of projects for use with client consultation and for sales purposes.
● Work through all phases of project management from creating further detailed drawings based on consultation to preparing detailed construction documentation with specifications and schedules to enable the completion of projects.
● Arrange, attend and record meetings with clients, consultants and other relevant stakeholders.
● From 2017 on, worked remotely from Australia by reviewing shop drawings and submissions from contractors for various projects on behalf of the architectural firm.
Key Projects:
● Developed drawings for four large luxury multi-residential buildings in urban settings (named ‘ Residencias’ 903, 904, 905, and 906). Buildings ranged between 5-12 stories with underground car parks and natural light filled internal patios. Apartments sold for up to $1,000,000 USD.
● Provided core architectural services for multi-story houses, with contracts up to $2,000,000 USD.
● Seconded the lead architect during the early stages of design of the 5-star hotel, Hotel Cimarron Margarita on Isla Margarita. The hotel is six floors with a construction area of 24,000 square metres.
● Assisted in the architectural design of the rooftop restaurant at Hotel la Castellana 901.
